106學年度四技二專統一入學測驗於5月6、7日舉行完畢；今年度報考人數受到少子化及其他入學管道影響，導致只剩113469人報考，恐連帶影響技專校院學生來源變化。全教總教師辦理統測評鑑，指出今年考題整體命題品質較往年提升，命題正確性較高，有疑義的試題比例也降低。
但統測評鑑中，也有不少教師反映有地方需要加強，像是今年度部分群類專業科目命題中間偏易，且大都是記憶性題目，鮮少整合應用型、實作型題目；全教總政策部主任張文昌表示這樣的題目沒有鑑別度，無法顯現程度高學生的優勢，對認真唸書的學生不公平。
而高雄高工教師葉明忠則表示，今年土木專一、專二題目完全不行，有些根本就是「派大星題目」無腦題。葉明忠舉例，像是「建構於濱海碼頭下方之木樁，引起腐蝕之最大的主因是？」答案選項分別有「魚害」、「蟲害」、「濕腐」、「高氯離子含量」；他表示這答案想都不用想就是「濕腐」，說這樣的題目要測驗學生的專業程度，根本是笑話。
技專校院入學測驗中心執行長林尚平表示，每年會召開試題分析及檢討會，並依照蒐集而來學生的反應而進行檢討，因此不能依照現在單方面只看事庭直覺式反映問題難度而定。另外高職教師建議應公開統測試題難易度評鑑報告，林尚平則表示會朝公開的方向努力。
